Feb 2026AP Racing celebrates landmark 400th win in Australian Supercars
Following the high stakes win by Broc Feeney for Red Bull Ampol Racing in Sydney, leading manufacturer of high-performance braking and clutch systems, AP Racing, is celebrating a momentous 400 race wins in the Australian Repco Supercars Championship.
This landmark achievement underscores the strong relationship between AP Racing and one of the most competitive touring car championships in the world. From its early involvement in the sport through to the modern Gen3 era, AP Racing technology has been at the heart of Supercars’ success, delivering the performance, durability and consistency demanded by the elite motorsport series.
AP Racing has been sole supplier of brakes, clutches, air jacks and pedal boxes to the entire Supercars grid since 2013. Alongside the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, first introduced in the 2018 season, and the Ford Mustang GT from 2019, AP Racing also supplied its complete brake and clutch package to the Gen3 Toyota GR Supra, a brand-new entrant to 2026 line up.
David Hamblin, Managing Director of AP Racing, commented: “Reaching 400 Supercars wins in is an incredible achievement and one we are extremely proud of. The championship is one of the toughest touring car series in the world, and to play a part in its success story for so long is a real honour. This milestone reflects the dedication of our engineers, our partners in the paddock, and the relentless pursuit of performance that defines AP Racing.”
Supercars is known for its high-speed circuits, aggressive racing and demanding braking zones, placing extreme stress on components. AP Racing’s systems are engineered to withstand these conditions, providing drivers with confidence, control and repeatable performance throughout the race weekend and across the entire season.
Hamblin continued, “Alongside the established Ford Mustang GT and Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, we’re also delighted to see the Toyota GR Supra perform strongly in the first race weekend of the season, with Chaz Mostert and Ryan Wood placing 4th and 5th for Walkinshaw TWG Racing on Sunday. This gives us an exciting preview of what’s to come in a competitive 2026 season with a third manufacturer on the grid.”
AP Racing, which is part of the Brembo group, remains committed to supporting Supercars as the championship evolves, using the series as a proving ground for next-generation braking technologies that ultimately benefit customers across motorsport and high-performance road applications.
