Jun 2025AP Racing systems dominate grid at Le Mans 2025
Leading manufacturer of high-performance brake and clutch systems, AP Racing, will supply its cutting-edge technologies to 51 out of 62 cars set to race around the Circuit de la Sarthe at this year’s Le Mans, alongside all six reserve machines.
The company will supply six different market-leading motorsport components to teams spread across all three racing categories: Le Mans Hypercar (LMH), LMP2, and LMGT3. Whether fitted with advanced brake calipers, brake pads, brake discs, clutches, master cylinders, or pedal boxes, at least one system will be used in over 80% of the cars crossing the start line on Saturday.
Machines in the top-tier LMH category all use at least one AP Racing product - often three or four - while the entire LMP2 grid uses AP Racing brake pads, discs, and master cylinders. In the GT3 field, 22 out of the 24 teams racing have all picked at least one AP Racing system.
Designed to excel in one of the world’s toughest motor races, AP Racing’s products have been engineered to perform at the highest level across the 24-hour endurance race, as well as all the practice and qualifying sessions beforehand. For some cars, this is expected to see more than 3,000 miles covered over the build-up and weekend, and speeds regularly in excess of 200mph.
Richard Gregory, sales director at AP Racing, commented: “Le Mans is the ultimate test of endurance, engineering, and teamwork. That so many of the world’s top teams choose AP Racing is a testament to the trust they place in our technology. This year promises to be a classic – with innovation, reliability, and performance pushed to the limit.
“As ever, AP Racing’s commitment extends far beyond supplying parts. A dedicated team of experienced, customer-focused account engineers will be embedded in the paddock throughout the event, providing hands-on support to teams using AP Racing systems.
“From real-time technical advice to performance optimisation, this presence ensures customers feel backed at every stage of the race weekend. It is this proactive, personal approach that helps build lasting relationships and consistent results on track.”
AP Racing, as part of the Brembo group, continues to push the boundaries of motorsport innovation, ensuring teams have the ultimate advantage as they tackle the world’s toughest endurance circuits.
