Dec 2014Nascar Championship Successes
AP Racing sprints to three championship titles.
AP Racing, the leading manufacturer of performance braking and clutch systems for road and race use, has taken a hat trick of championship wins, ending 2014 with the Nascar Sprint Cup, the Nationwide Series and the Craftsman Truck Series titles.
In the prestigious Nascar Sprint Cup series, AP Racing supplied braking equipment to the winning car, driven by Kevin Harvick. In total, AP Racing supplied equipment to eight out of the top 12 competitors, demonstrating its racing expertise made up over 50 years of success. In fact, AP Racing has supplied every Sprint Cup Championship Winning car since 2005, as well as numerous competitors and race winners.
The same Radi-CAL™ technology used in the Nascar Sprint Cup series also helped Chase Elliot win the Nationwide series and, for the 2014 series, the top three competitors were all equipped by AP Racing. The Radi-CAL™ revolution in brake technology began in 2007 with AP Racing’s patented caliper design, and will continue into 2015.
In addition to the successes of Radi-CAL™ technology, AP Racing’s conventional braking equipment reigned supreme in the Craftsman Truck series. Two of the top Three competitors used AP Racing components in 2014, including series winner Matt Crafton.
Each of these three championships add to the already impressive list of international race and series wins that AP Racing products have collected, strengthening its position as the leading manufacturer of performance braking and clutch systems for race use.
