New Face of Brake Kits for Road and Race

AP Racing has revealed the new names of its performance braking kits, the Factory Big Brake Kit and Factory Competition Brake Kit, which deliver highly responsive and flexible brake systems for both road and race applications.

Replacing the older Formula Big Brake Kit range, the new kits reflect AP Racing’s focus on OEM partnerships and development of high performance components for specific vehicles. Designed as an upgrade to the original factory supplied brakes, the new kits feature distinctive new branding - incorporating a new logo. Both the Factory Big Brake Kit and Factory Competition Brake Kit draw on features and technology derived from the company’s motorsport pursuits.

In addition to expanding the range of custom-fit options with new models, in time AP Racing’s line up of Formula brake kits will be available as Factory Big Brake Kits or Factory Competition Brake Kits.

Large discs and multi-piston calipers considerably increase a car’s stopping power, allowing for more responsive late braking and reduced braking effort, while boosting confidence levels on track. Developed to resist fade after repeated high speed stops, the AP Racing Factory Big kits are fully adapted for regular motoring use, with dust seals and a durable anti-corrosion paint finish.
