Open for business: AP Racing launches US office
AP Racing has officially opened its all-new US office in Charlotte, North Carolina. AP Racing North America Corporation (APRNA) is now providing automotive and motorsport customers across the US and Canada greater access to AP Racing’s industry-leading road and race technologies.
Opening of the company’s US office highlights the exciting opportunities for growth in North America for AP Racing. With a talented local team and significant investment in establishing this regional headquarters, AP Racing will be able to greatly enhance its support and customer liaison services for new and existing customers of high-performance brake and clutch components.
The office is now closely supporting all AP Racing’s US customers, including large original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and motorsport contracts. The company has a rich history of US contract wins, including NASCAR, IndyCar, IMSA, OEM road car programmes, specialist vehicle projects and more. The new office will greatly enhance AP Racing’s ability to work alongside North American vehicle and motorsport programmes.
While AP Racing has been a mainstay of the US market for some time, with permanent staff working alongside US distributor Essex Parts Services – who will remain the exclusive North American Distributor – APRNA is enhancing the connection between AP Racing’s global headquarters in Coventry, UK, and direct customers, including OEMs and race teams in the US.
David Hamblin, Managing Director at AP Racing, commented: “The opening of our US office is a pivotal moment in the history of AP Racing. While we have been active in North America for many years, this new expansion will directly link us with some of our most important customers and end-users. Covering both of our key markets – automotive and motorsport – APRNA is equipped and ready to deliver an even greater level service to our North American customers and collaborators. Working from our Charlotte NC office, APRNA is now officially operational.”
