Master Cylinders
- CP2623 range are the most popular cylinders used.
This cylinder has the “Standard” Short Travel to cut off ( 0.027” to 0.043”) but there is an Extra Short Travel to cut off version (0.019” to 0.025”). To order this version you add “E” Suffix to the end of the part number.

- The other popular master cylinder used is CP4400.
These cylinders are set with Extra Short Travel to cut off of 0.019” to 0.025”.

The efficiency of the actuation system is an area which is now receiving a lot of attention and AP Racing has a range of high efficiency master cylinders and balance bars.
- CP6465 Direct Mount to Balance Bar Pull Type Master Cylinder.
A new concept pull type design, more efficient than conventional push type master cylinders. Lightweight aluminium alloy body with built in clevis and barrell nut for direct mounting to the balance bar. Low profile inlet and outlet. Special "plug in" inlet connection CP6465-10 (not supplied with cylinder) has been designed to the Goodridge G-Line range of fittings & hoses, and can be directly swaged to dash 4 hose. AP Racing recommends the 910 series hose. This cylinder has been designed with an extra short travel to cut off reducing the amount of free pedal travel.

- CP7854 High Efficiency Direct Mount to Balance Bar Push Type Master Cylinder .
High efficiency push type, compact design (short body length) UNF threads. Built in clevis mounting for direct fitment to a balance bar. Use with CP5520-2/-3/-4/-13 trunnion type balance bar, or purpose designed pedal box. 10 bore sizes from 14mm to 25.4mm. This cylinder has been designed with an extra short travel to cut off reducing the amount of free pedal travel.
